Our Love Notes to God

When I was in grade school, Kim Casali created a popular comic strip—later greeting cards and more—featuring a little boy and girl holding hands under the simple caption, “Love is…”

She began by sketching those drawings as love notes to her future husband.

When I think about faith—trusting God for what we cannot yet see or fully understand—I imagine something similar: “Faith is…”

Faith is… our love notes to God.

Faith is… leaning into His promises as our reality.

Faith is… believing it’s done before we see.

Faith is… saying yes to God before knowing the how.

Faith is… trusting His promises more than our fickle feelings.

Faith is… exercising this foundational truth, we get to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). For it is faith that moves the heart of God.

The Call to Action

Today, write your own “faith note” to God. Take a moment to trust Him with something you can’t yet see. Speak His promises over your life. Step forward in obedience before the path is clear.
